I had parathyroid surgery on Friday. By Sunday I was experiencing severe body cramps. I called the surgeon and he told me to go to the Er for blood work to check my calcium , PTH levels and for the attending doctor to call him with the results. My levels were right were they should be and I was dehydrated however the doctor never contacts my surgeon. Later that night my surgeon called to find out the results. Although I was seen quickly they never followed up with my surgeon and they never gave me fluids.
The receptionist and nurse were kind and carrying. I waited 45 min. to be seen by the nurse practitioner. She saw me for approximately 3 minutes and didn’t take her time to examine my lungs, ears and nose, despite the fact that I was showing symptoms of a severe cold with persistent cough. Friendly staff, I was seen right away the PA was nice and attentive.
Dr. Was no help at all. Doesn't believe in antibiotics when needed. Mask mandate has been banned by governor of Florida Mr. DeSantis March 1st who is the law maker. Masks provide 0 protection but actually do harm by causing brain damage brain stroke & liver damage reported by dr's. We are protected by ADA who put out a report it is forbidden to force anyone to wear a mask. After 40 minutes to fill out the questionnaire, a nurse took my vitals and the Doctor immediately checked me out and gave me two tests, which after 15 - 20 minutes came back negative, so she took another swab of my throat and prescribed some meds, which took immediate effect. The next morning no sore throat. We are still awaiting a reading from the Lab as to what virus I might have had. Most efficient Doctor, I never would have received such quick response from my PCP.
Upon arrival my driver's license was needed which I didn't have a problem giving, but was not returned to me on a Timely manner. If I didn't remember to retrieve my license the receptionist would have forgotten and put in a pile they have in office ( This info was stated by receptionist) along with other licenses they have forgotten to return from other previous customers. Secondly the visit was for very long as this was only a sports physical for my son. There is more questions and frustrations but to lengthy to type.
Said I had heatstroke told me if your pee turns brown go to ER got covid tested didn’t test me for anything else. Went to another doctors office tested positive for strep
The facility is dirty, Covid testing patients who are clearly sick are kept within less than 6 feet of other patients, and machines (pulse ox, blood pressure cuff) are not cleaned in between patients. I witnessed all of these things and brought them to the Nurse Practitioner's attention, and instead of addressing the issues, she proceeded to argue with me that I was wrong. my daughter was seen there and the provider said everything looked good and it was a virus even though she was in so much pain complaining about her ears, had a temp of 103.4 and was lethargic. The next day I brought her to the pediatrician who said her ears were bulging and they had no idea how this could have been missed! I was very disappointed, so I called and after expressing my concerns, the woman hung up on me. Then I sent an email and never heard back.
