This urgent Care office has always been great. After having three covid tests all come back negative, my doctor sent me to the urgent Care in order to see if I had bronchitis or flu. I was tested for the flu, told I had an upper respiratory infection after listening to my lungs and then quickly sent away. I wasn't given any medicine and was told instead that I should only take Tylenol if my fever went above 101.5. This is day 6, my fever is still high, and I'm still feeling all the symptoms I was. TGH Urgent Care provided a clean and sanitized office with professional staff.
COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE To get any representative to answer the phone. Yesterday I called and sat on hold for 2 HOURS no one answered. I drove to facility and put my name down, waited 2 HOURS in the waiting room as well! I was seen and prescribed an antibiotic. After 20 mins admitting antibiotic, I had a severe allergic reaction. I tried calling the office immediately and sat on hold for 1hour before hanging up. Here we are a day later.. Love the care given.The only thing I need is better contact as I didn't find out until today that I did not have covid again.I found out when we my daughter and I called about my health. And we had to wait one hour and ten minutes to speak to someone.
We waited 1 hour and half for a ten minute examination.
Waited 3 hours to be seen. Didn’t have an appointment. Hello, who knows they’re having an emergency or need urgent care in advance? Not impressed & will go elsewhere next time.
We went to TGH Urgent Care on 9/6 to get a CoVid test for travel, to Canada required within 72 hours of departure. The process to gather the samples went well. We were assured that the samples would go to LabCorp that night. We had no source of info to follow the samples. We contacted LabCorp today, 9/8, and they informed us that they received the samples today which makes it highly unlikely that the results will be available by 2:20 tomorrow afternoon. Front desk staff was very rude, I was there for over 3 hours with zero updates. People were being seen before me as I was there before them.
The wait time was an hour and a half for a 10 min exam
