I was able to see Dr within an hour. Friendly staff. Close to home.
Doctor’s “bedside manner “ was a bit arrogant. Also, prescribed 3 medications and 1 over the counter. Sent in 2 medications and ober the counter prescriptions - And left off 1 medication. Could not get anyone on the phone . Pharmacy stayed on hold for over an hour. Pharmacy stated that I had to go back to the dr. And get them to send in the missing prescription. I WAS SICK and could not be out driving around!!!

The doctor did not examine my body. I was there complaining of rib pain as a result of a Heimlich. No x-Ray tech was there and they sent me to another location. The proper thing to do, instead of collecting my co-payment, was to explain there was no X-ray tech available and suggest I go to the other urgent care up front. Made a reservation and still had to wait 2 hours for a 5 min exam. Poor to no parking. No way I would go back.
Was waiting for almost 2 hrs!
Had a 11:30 am appt. Was only one other person ahead of me in lobby. I was not called back till 12:28 when I was the only one in the lobby waiting after the person in front of me was called 30 minutes prior. I think it was lunch time and less staff available. I honestly felt I was forgotten until I asked the receptionist how much longer her response was unless they got busy in the back. Hmmm only one patient before me?? Doctor Carol Stoneking was very disinterested in taking care of Avery- stated she just had a cold and I had to take her in the next day to her ENT, Dr Paul Mitchell, and was diagnosed with bilateral acute middle ear infections She was more concerned with arguing and chastising me for not having my POA paperwork on hand even though a copy was in her file and her mother (Father deployed and mom active duty military unable to take child in) had spoken both to the front desk and the doctor herself
Imagine going to urgent care and the practitioner telling you your dizziness is likely due to your high blood pressure and then having that same practitioner refuse to give you even a week's supply of blood pressure medication. Well, this was my experience at TGH Urgent Care. I would have given a much lower star rating, but the technician that took my x-ray and the receptionist at the facility were both so nice.
