So much for urgent care. I was in this urgent cares parking lot literally bleeding out, my friend had drive me there as it was the absolute closest place I could go to find someone who could at least stop the bleeding. My friend went in as I laid in the back seat holding pressure on the area as I was afraid to move and lose more blood. The Doctor misdiagnosed me on Sunday and I was hospitalized on Wednesday partly due to this misdiagnosis. She was rude to my spouse for doing what was right. Had she properly diagnosed me and given me antibiotics I would not have been hospitalized.
On hold for 30 minutes, just want to if my license is there.
The practice claims to be part of Tampa General Hospital but has no access to the medical records there or to "mychart". I had chest pains not caused by a heart attack but I did not get a diagnosis. I was advised verbally that I did not have a serious problem but was given a referral document to any Emergency Room. I subsequently was found to have inflammation of my heart. Came to get an evaluation of left-sided rib pain. X-ray was negative, I believe. Pain has since subsided 90%.
12:30 appointment-1 person in waiting room-took back at 1:05. Discharged at 1:30.
Visit was quick, thorough, and professional.
I think I needed stitches and was treated with plastic strips which did not close the wound adequately. The wound wept extremely of serous fluid for 5 days. When I went for the two day after check I was told that extremity injuries heal more slowly. He did give me antibiotics but I sensed he did not believe me about the nature of the leakage of fluid.
