I have always gone to TGH and TGH affiliates for care, as they are amazing. However, my experience at the TGH urgent care in Tampa Heights was very poor. Front staff and medical assistant were fantastic, however I felt as if the doctor didn’t listen to my concerns and did not provide compassionate, evidence based care. He also tried to rush me out the door. This is definitely not the tampa general care I’m used to
I was diagnosed as having a UTI! Wrong! I’m lying in the hospital after having surgery to remove my gallbladder!
I went for job test for employment and waiting almost two hours before being seen.
I scheduled an appointment which required me to wait 2 hours before coming to the center. I arrived 10 minutes early and was not seen for an hour and 15 minutes after my appointment time.
I was seen for an acute foot injury and informed the staff upon arrival. However, I was not informed that the X-ray tech had been sent home early for the day and therefore they were unable to X-ray my foot. No vitals were done and the provider just touched my foot, laughed about my injury, wrapped it with an ace bandage and told me to come back the next day for X-ray. Was only prescribed cough medicine. Went to another facility and was giving a steriod shot & meds a day later to get relief. If I would have known what treatment that I was going to get, I would have never came in.
I'm not going to download an app to get my results. Period.
3 hours to wait. You need more doctors there. The order me some medicine and I don't know what cvs they sent to. Waited
When I went in for the emergency that morning, it was 10:30 AM. Two hours later I still have not been called in, so I need to leave because I need to be in another place by 12 PM. So I made an appointment a 3 PM the same day. Came at 2:45 PM for the appointment and it was 3:45 PM when they call me to see the doctor. If We have an appointment scheduled I don't we have to way that long almost the whole day. This office needs to work something out to maintain appointments on time
