Your own people told me that the particular insurance I have would be accepted at your establishment. When I arrive to get a COVID test done I was told that my insurance was not accepted. I took every possible precaution to make sure that I would not have this problem. I made this appointment a month in advance. I could have gone some where else and not be billed $420.00 dollars for two COVID test. Unfortunately you folks left me me with no other possibility since we were supposed to be at the airport with in 2 hours.
The check in process was fast & efficient. I was taken back and seen by a provider promptly. I was checked out quickly with prescriptions called in immediately for pickup at my pharmacy. At this point, you would have gotten 5 stars…… However, the next day, I had a missed call and voicemail to call back regarding test results. Seems like a waste of staff to have one come out to do a tiny bit of paperwork and another to do the swab — only one nostril and less than 1” in. I’ve had multiple CIVID-19 tests - NEVER one as “pleasant” as this one!
The sample taken from me was apparently not stored at the correct temperature and I have to do the process all over again. Wait time was long for once, but doing it again is a lot.
Went in to get a Covid test, 3 days later no results and am sitting on hold for over 2 hours trying to speak to someone. Will never use them again.
I wish that I could leave zero stars but unfortunately that wasn’t an option. I had a very terrible experience at this TGH urgent location. I arrived at 2:30 and left after 5:00. I only came for a DOT physical. The nurse that had performed my physical was very rude, unprofessional, snarky and she seemed as if she was above you. You scheduled my appointment without contacting me as to my availability and scheduled me on the same morning as I had a Dr. visit and a Board of Directors meeting. With only a two day notice.Nobody was any help in getting my Covid test changed to same day as procedure as I have done in the past. Given phone numbers that resulted in phone trees promising to get back in about two days which was too late. Very frustrating.
I have always gone to TGH and TGH affiliates for care, as they are amazing. However, my experience at the TGH urgent care in Tampa Heights was very poor. Front staff and medical assistant were fantastic, however I felt as if the doctor didn’t listen to my concerns and did not provide compassionate, evidence based care. He also tried to rush me out the door. This is definitely not the tampa general care I’m used to
I was diagnosed as having a UTI! Wrong! I’m lying in the hospital after having surgery to remove my gallbladder!
