Would have been a great experience. However, the prescription for antiviral meds due to Covid were sent to the TGH pharmacy 45 min away from my home. It was hard to get in contact with someone to change pharmacy location. And there were issues with TGH pharmacy answering the phone for CVS to transfer the meds. Btw the correct pharmacy was always in my chart.
I went to see if I could get comfort of my left foot ..only thing was done was touching of my foot and steroids given no call from no one about my appointment that I was told someone would do..
The requested laboratory test was conducted in wrong tube. After waiting for five days for the result, no result is available rendering the urgent visit useless.
Was sent to the ER. That wasn’t necessary. Now I am stuck with a ridiculous medical bill.
The appointment took an excessive amount of time. Also, do you sanitize the bench between patients? The person who examined me was very pleasant.
Urgent care does mean URGENT!!! This can take time. How about you add a check in via your website so that patients can check in online that can give them exact time on when their turn will come. I was seen by a PA after waiting for 1.5 hour. There after was just a quick process. Thanks
This is the 2nd time being faced with a particular PA that works at TGH Urgent care. The 1st time was when I was presenting with sinus infection symptoms, coughing up green phlegm, after being sick 7-8 days already with Covid. I had to stand my ground to get antibiotics. Her reasoning “we don’t like to prescribe antibiotics short of 10 days”. Seriously? I had already had Covid 7-8 days and she wanted me to sit around for an additional 10 seeing if it resolved itself? So my son had a 104.5° fever for two days brought him in they ran zero tests said he has a cold had to demand the doctor actually run a Covid test RSV test and strep test I forgot to request a urine analysis to see if he had a UTI. The staff there suck and just want to do the bare minimum to get you out. Turns out after another day of him being sick finally got him to see his pediatrician and he had a UTI thanks for nothing except a bill!!!!
Every office should have available appts daily for immediate pt needs.
