Went in for chest discomfort, N/V and severe headache. MD suggested to be referred to PCP. Front desk said they have my HMO insurance on file. I said I have the new insurance card which is PPO. They said someone will get in touch with me. A day after, I got a text from them that says I have to find my own pcp since I have HMO insurance. I called their clinic and gave my PPO insurance details and they have me call a different number to ask to be referred to a pcp. I waited a long time and the PA was NOT able to help me. I ended up going to the ER. A waste of time!
I’m disappointed that there was no mention of a Covid test during my visit. My symptoms were consistent with flu, Covid, and what I thought was a sinus infection. I was advised to buy OTC nasal sprays. Well it turns out I have Covid. I guess TG doesn’t care about investigating all options. I don’t feel I got great care. I saw a PA named Tryon.
It was really a waste of time because they couldn’t do nothing for me I have lower back pain leg pain and neck pain
Made an appointment for 11:30am and wasn’t taken back until 12:15pm. The nurse that called us in was extremely rude. The PA that saw my son, while nice, didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. My son had symptoms that mimicked 3 different things…flu, Covid and RSV. She only tested for the flu (rapid test) and sent us home uncertain of what was wrong.
Why hadn’t you had my appt online BEFORE my time?
Why have a phone if the receptionists don’t answer? How can you leave someone on hold for multiple hours while they are in pain and sick because of the combination of medication that was prescribed by the so called Doctor?
The provider was rude and talked to me like I am stupid. I know the difference between a kidney stone pain and back pain and a UTI. she insisted I have an UTI or kidney stone. I had neither, per labs. Ended up in the ER the same day to get help.
Barely looked at me and didn’t test me for anything. Just let me leave without antibiotics and have to wait 10 days to even get some after i’ve repeatedly called back saying how i’ve gotten worse and no better
