Two or three people who arrived after me - were taken prior to me. Other than that - everything was perfect.
The front was lacking any sense of professionalism and sense of urgency. We waited 2 hours to be called only to be told there was nothing they could do and sent us to the emergency room. There were ants crawling all over the floor in the lobby and the furniture was dirty and extremely uncomfortable.
I had a 2:30 appointment and was not seen until 4:45. Not sure if MA even graduated, said I have no tonsils, but I do. She wrote the wrong prescription, my pharmacist noticed it was not a drug for me. I call and advised, a new prescription would be send over. It was for the same wrong drug, just the work nausea was changed to cough. My pharmacist was closing and directed me to an OTC medication to take.
Was 1/2 people in the waiting room and waited for over an hour to be seen. The new way of doing paperwork is over complicated and unnecessary.
The after visit scrip was for an ‘off the shelf’ product. I was not told that so I waited in pharmacy line CVS to find out it was over the counter product. Time is more precious when you are old. Don’t waste it.
If you want to wait hours after making appointments and people who can care less about you then go Here!!!!!! Tampa General is going Down Hill So Bad Its Scary !!!!!!!!
I had a pre-booked, confirmed appointment for 6:30pm. Upon arrival, the front desk staff member seemed rather overwhelmed with seven walk-ins and the ‘new system’ requiring everyone to complete either paperwork or an online check-in process. I went to the office last Friday 04/07/23. 10 minutes before closing, I apologized for going late, because I knew they closed at 8:00 pm, the ladies at the front desk were so rude, they didn’t want to provide me any services , (I had been there before, never had an issue) she threw my ID and my insurance card to the other lady, I was in shock, I tried to explain what happened with my back, it’s the first time I go to the urgent care for a muscular pain, and she started making sounds, rolled her eyes, it was awful and I feel... read more
Somehow, after completing several intake forms .. the staff used the incorrect DOB for my prescription. The script wasn’t found. I made a return visit to the facility at TGH to use the paper script & turn that in to the pharmacy to fill the order. This took 2 days following difficult experiences trying contact staff through their customer service line. Smh.
