I feel the clinic should be able to do more than they do. My father age 92 is diabetic and tore a tonail which was sticking straight up. The Nurse Practioner spoke with the doctor that did not come in and see my father, that they had no tools to cut the toe nail. They prescribed an antibiotic and told him to see a podiatrist. I went in this office bcs i had a teammate positive with covid and bcs i was sick as a dog with upper respiratory or sinus infection… NP only tested me for covid even though it could have been many other things such as the flu… I asked for a steroid shot but the provider refused even though I felt like death. I wish the receptionist would have shared you didn’t have imaging capabilities that morning. Instead, I waited in the lobby, was seen only to be told that you couldn’t take an exray because you didn’t have the technician. Very disappointing. I feel like your quick care facility was more concerned with billable submissions. The receptionist was perfect and the PA did her job but your protocol was disappointing. Disappointed no one informed me I had not completed my check in . I had a 10:30 appointment and waited until noon to be call in. I was out at the end of the line once I discovered the problem.
I was there for a nose infection on 4/22, concerned about MRSA, the PA did a swab of my nose to send to the lab and as of this day 4/27 never received the results and mychart has no records that she has sent the sample.
The front desk staff have been unprofessional in the past and they again were unprofessional on my most recent visit. A couple of them including the triage nurse who collects vitals aren’t very pleasant with guests. I’ve worked in customer facing roles since I was 18 and I understand how hard it is to work with the public especially when they’re sick and can be negative and self centered, but some of the staff have been upright cold, nonchalant and even gossiped about other patients in front of guests. Wait time was extremely long even after checking in ahead of time. Front desk clerk was rude.
I was not informed of how much my visit would cost until after my visit took place and I received a text message. My visit was charged as an emergency when it was not. It should have been charged as an office visit.
Never testes me for Covid. Turned out I had it.
