Mis diagnoses. Wrong meds
Honestly a waste of time. I made my appointment online because I could not get a hold of the office don’t bother making an appointment here because you’re still going to have about five walkins head of you. They will not tell you if you haven’t checked in so you could wait a whole hour and realize you haven’t checked it. They have horrible communication and customer service in the lobby. the good thing is that the Dr. took her time with me. I specifically told her about the possible connection between the discomfort in my LLQ and a 7 inch scar in that area and asked her to check that out, she said she would, she did not, when she pounded on my left side ( clothes never came off ) at one point I said that hurts and is about at the start of the incision, The Dr. gave no comment and never checked it out, final word " go to the ER." There are 2 parts to this. 1st: PA Brianna Gruber was great. Very personable, knew her job and communicated my problem to me excellently. The radiologist was also great. the person behind the counter when I arrived and left was also very personable. 2. Now I was told I would be contacted for a referral to an Orthopedic Doctor - this has not happened. My Urgent Care visit was August 1 and it is now August 8 and no contact. I did not come to get cough syrup for my symptoms. This trip was waste of time and money. My condition worsened after leaving.
I went to TGH Urgent Care on 301 Sun City Center/Wimauma. I’m in the system. I gave the receptionist the necessary IDs. After taking them, copying them, verifying that I was in the system she says I’m supposed to sign in online or with the app. I said I don’t have the app, not enough memory on my phone. She said I’d have to sign in as a new patient. But I’m in your system. Why, I asked? It’s to reduce paper. Then she hands me 4 sheets of paper to fill out. I wish this was a joke. Waited over two hours for them to tell me to go to the Er. What a joke.
I went there after I was bitten by a feral cat. I was worried that I may have rabies. The doctor was obviously young and inexperienced. (Just out of med school?) He did not have any knowledge of rabies incubation length of time. He did no tests and gave me no information about the disease. He did not suggest any vaccination or treatment plan. Was sent to ER by your PA who said I needed to be admitted for iv antibiotics for suspected pyelonephritis. Went to the ER, and 5 hours later was given a prescription for oral antibiotics. Frustrating.
