We arrived at 7:50a and did not see a Dr for 4.5 hours.
I visited the walking clinic on 301 Riverview FL, Yesterday, about 9:00 Am. Walgreens is unable to fill the prescription because it is missing information. Walgreens claims they have called and left messages. Over 24 hours and still waiting for my pain medicine. No one from this TGH Urgent Care has contact Walgreens.
Sent home with three days of cough, headache, sinus pressure, drainage, body aches. Just take iburprofen which I already take and was not working.
1.5 HOUR WAIT TIME. NEED. TO DO BETTER.
I had just been there the day before with my husband and knew the drill for covid treatment but when I called, was told I had to come in. I made an appointment, I filled out all the paperwork online (1/2 hour) but still had to wait over an hour when I got there. 3 1/2 minutes with the doctor to get a prescription called in. Dr wasn’t very helpful nor seemed to care. She seemed tired!
After testing positive for Covid and having been out for a week prior, I felt it best to apply for leave from work. When I returned with the paperwork the next day (24th). I attached a handwritten explanation clearly communicating my absence the week prior to have it included. There also appears to have been a breakdown in communication for when I should return to work. I made an appointment for 9am… had me sitting in the waiting for almost and hour with kids running around so I removed myself to my car for another hour wait… I tested at home positive for Covid ( told them right away and was wearing a mask), I finally get brought back to be given antiviral meds and sent on my way… no Covid test to make sure , no exam, nothing… looked at my results from visit online and they reported “ test given - positive “. I confirmed my pharmacy with the tech and they still sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. When I called the number tool yet again confirm the pharmacy they sent it to the wrong pharmacy again.
