Wasn't able to get the full care due to lack of equipped s. Had to goto the E.R. Where he got a complete Checkup.
The wait time before and after entering through the door is simply unacceptable. I was there 4 hours total and when I came in there were 3 people ahead of me. The staff is great and I could see them working. So there is obviously a flow problem or staffing one. Four hours is way too long for an urgent care visit.
The PA was great as was the person who took X-Rays. It took 3 days for someone to get back to me with results. This was with the PA noting “stat” on the order. I had the results on My Chart at least a day before someone actually called me.
I told the nurse practitioner, Heather Lovesey, that I was having a hard time catching my breath since I got sick. She told me I needed to go to the ER. I told her no I didn't. There was no reason for me to go to the ER. She offered a covid test. I told her I didn't have covid. I had covid before. I know what covid is. She offered to send a script for steroid to help me get better. She never did. I called the office to let them know. I never received the Rx. I went to find out what was my pain about that I was experiencing for 6 days prior, and I was looking for an X-ray of my chest which never happened. I have a brace and perhaps it moved, not sure. But you did not help. All you did was give me a band aid by giving me an injection, which unfortunately did not help. Finding the cause of the pain was my priority and you did not help me with that issue. Whatever your reasons, that is not acceptable to us patients that expect more.
It is now a week since I went to TGH urgent care. And I still have not got the topical cream. The Doctor Heather ordered because between TGH and Walgreens. They do not know how to write a prescription. Thus I could not treat my wound as I was instructed called back multiple multiple times to no avail
I was there and waiting three hours to be seen. I would’ve liked to know it would’ve taken so long seeing I was in such pain at an urgent care. To be seen and waiting on the room for another 40 minutes.
The initial visit experience went well as one can expect as far to the attention and care provided on site. However after not feeling that one of the medications prescribed was making effect I decided to contact the care center to request a change in medication and this has been an absolute challenge to speak to a live person. This is our family's second time visiting where someone at the front desk was doing their nails with polish... doesn't seem like that should be acceptable? The doctor completely was in over his head - it was VERY obvious that my collarbone was broken, he could even feel it. His recap of his notes on MyChart were not reflective of information that we provided. Very disappointing visit.
