Got seen, sent to Tampa General ED via ambulance. When we entered, a nurse said that they weren't seeing any more patients. I freaked out and got very anxious and upset as what I was not sure what I was going to do, especially not being to see due to my eye injury. After I got upset, the desk nurse admitted that the nurse was just joking. Said something about not accepting any wooden nickels, joke. Not funny, caused my anxiety to explode, especially with me driving my car there blinded by my injury.
Wasn't supported or heard by the attending. Was given topical cream when I really needed antibiotics.
The wait at this location was too long. I was there for 3 hours. There was only 1 Medical Assistant and 1 NP. That area is growing so fast. They need more Providers working there.
Had a broken foot , sit for 3 hours no xray technician. Next day not technician! Went to Apollo Beach office , nicest but !! Did xray my foot is broken, Dr.said she would call me a foot doctor because I'm new here. By Friday Morning no body called me , I called a podiatrist on my own , my foot has 2 broken bones can't walk for 8 weeks or surgery. I can't believe that your office in Sun City is badly run. When I tried to return a week ago for pneumonia and an ear infection, I was told they would have to have a credit card on file as I had removed the one previously. I told them I did not want one on file because there’s times I use different credit cards for the payment. They said I had to give them one so I gave them a credit card. The last time I had a visit there, it was wonderful, I was in and out very quickly. However, I was very disappointed this visit. I went in for a fall hoping for an x-ray. I was seen right away but then was told the x-ray person was not in that day. Despite their website stating that they can do x-rays. I was given a referral for an x-ray but the location was 10 minutes away, was very busy when I arrived, and the x-ray was going to take 3-5 days to get the results. Wait is just as bad as a regular primary office
The wait was insane. I waited an hour in the exam room. Only one PA for the entire office
