I believe waiting two hours in an urgent care for less than 10 minutes with medical staff is ridiculous. Better staffing (if that is indeed an issue) is required.
Some of your staff is a hot mess express. Their bed side manners can be greatly improved upon. The X Ray was down in the middle of my appointment, which I understand things happen, but once I called the next location with an available x ray machine the rep who answered was rushed and was rude and mentioned it would be a wait. First, the visit took over 3 hours, this clinic either needs more staffing, or better management practices. One recommendation is since I came in with respiratory flu/covid related symptoms maybe do the culture swabbing when vitals are taken, not after the long wait for the doctor. I spent 45min waiting for the nurse to take the sample and provide the results. After checking in and having to wait over 44 minutes ( with my 93 year old mother) I was treated with little respect and because I was unable to hear ( with an ear infection) there was a complete lack of urgency and mainly apathy by the physician who is a DO which only added to me my concern about level of care diagnosis and treatment which DID NO t included antibiotics which is called for most case so trusting this physician was a mistake and now I AJ e to follow up with another visit to my primary physician in Texas Wou... read more
Tried to phone the location. No one answered the phone. Reserved a spot on-line, but when I arrived, I was told that they do not schedule appointments. The receptionist said the wait time would be 1-1.5 hours. I waited. I was seen 2 hrs45 mins later. No one attempted to give me a reason for the longer wait time. When I inquired at the desk for an updated time, the receptionist did not tell me an updated time, but instead told me how many people were ahead of me. There is definitely a total lack of communication.
It will be really hard to go back to that urgent care! I was so sick, and the nurse practitioner never tested me for strep throat, said I had a high fever and never prescribed me antibiotics. Had to go to my primary doctor Monday (spend another copayment) to get some kind of antibiotics. Lesson learned!!
I arrived at 1015 and sat in the waiting room for 3 hours before getting seen!
Wasn't able to get the full care due to lack of equipped s. Had to goto the E.R. Where he got a complete Checkup.
The wait time before and after entering through the door is simply unacceptable. I was there 4 hours total and when I came in there were 3 people ahead of me. The staff is great and I could see them working. So there is obviously a flow problem or staffing one. Four hours is way too long for an urgent care visit.
