The location is very clean. The staff is friendly. However, my diagnosis was inconclusive. I was given a prescription without knowing if it was needed. It was a waste of money and time.

I am age 81. I went to the Riverview TGH urgent care for Covid follow-up. I wanted to know if my persistent cough was due to the Covid or whether I had developed a secondary lung infection. I have a history of URIs. I only saw an RN - not a nurse practitioner. That nurse was condescending and dismissive. Her flippant attitude was 'of course it is covid.' Came in for a simple urine test. Waited two hours and the office was not busy. There was one person in the waiting room and only one person being looked at at the time I arrived. I asked they said they weren’t busy and there was only the one patient ahead of me. I could hear the patient in the next room she was being treated for a cough. She was in there maybe five minutes. Was not impressed.
I went in because of heart racing. Girls up front had me do paperwork and apparently I wasn’t in the system with most current info….apparently new software. I waited about 20 minutes. Once I was seen they were great and asked how long I waited. Apparently they thought I was there for headache so guess up front only heard headache…..
Wait too long. Can only do the basics. No real care
Call them on the phone they said they could help me with my condition drove all the way down there and they told me I need an ER waste of my time
Your front desk people were aweful. One lady was sick. Blowing her nose couching then handed out papers to sign. Neither lady was vey friendly. They were not at all pleased to be at work. They both need some better training for your clients. The nurse and PA I saw was awesome
I checked in online and got there at 5pm. Because you were short of staff I was there 5 hours. I wouldn’t call that Urgent Care.
