Took three hours to see the doc and what she gave me didn’t work
Felt rush from the moment we checked in till we meet with the NP.
I had to take a DOT exam and specifically caller ahead of time. When I called, I waited on hold and kept getting transferred to a chat system. This was an option, however, I did no opt for it. I called back again and whenever you're on hold for too long, it transfers you to their text chat. I went through with the text and asked if they had a DOT certification doctor to do my physical, as there have been times in the past where I get sent elsewhere because they didn't have the staff. I felt that everything I said to the doctor was dismissed. I am a 62-year-old and had a high fever for 7 days. The highest it went was 104 and still no concern from the doctor. I was asked if I had a sore throat and I replied no but they prescribed me a throat spray. I arrived before they opened to near the time they were to open I got out of my car. it was raining and damp. I did not feel well at all. I stood near the door so when it opened I could check in. Horrible, the girl up in front ended up make me pay as a self pay even though I have insurance (Aetna) 2/18/24. She was very rude.Unbelievable, NEVER NEVER coming back again to this urgent care.
The doc never called me about the x ray result. The doc I spoke to after 3 phone calls said “I guess you want to hear about the results” yes hello it’s what I paid for and want to know if my toddler foot is broken. Will never go back and will tell all moms at Fishhawk about the service
People were nice but the doc was arrogant, condescending and rude. She wasn’t interested in my need unless I was willing to be tested for Covid and Flu. Like that has anything to do with a sinus infection.
Horrible follow-up communication. I was unable to connect with a provider to obtain my X-ray results for 3 days. Phone and texting system looped me into a cycle of hang ups. When I finally was connected (after 3 days), the employee was very rude and told me she would leave a message for the provider (since I had a few questions) and they would call me back. It has been 24 hours and still no return call.
The wait was excruciating as we were all sick in the waiting room waiting for over an hour and a half to be called back. What is the point of having an appointment when you only have one provider scheduled?? I am a nurse at a hospital and we don't even leave patients waiting that long.
