Great experience at a walk in clinic
Front office we’re very friendly.
Waited two hours with my 3 year old and 6 year old due to a cold my 3 year old has had for weeks and was getting worse instead of better. When we finally were seen, the doctor said it was only allergies and to give Benadryl to help her sleep. Wouldn’t prescribe anything, just said get OTC. The paperwork she sent home with us told us to never give Benadryl to someone so young for a cold, and the OTC Benadryl instructions say to contact your doctor for proper dosage for a 4 year old and to never give it without doctor instruct... read more
I came in with a sinus condition and didn't get much help there. I was told it was a viral infection. Consequently no medicine. I am worse now than I was when I came in. I was told I would have to deal with it. I was sick and still am sick. I was given tessalon perls for the cough which hasn't helped much. Was told to let it run its course bout 10-14 days. Really!
Because the PA did not hear anything in my lungs and my Covid test was negative. She automatically assumed it was a virus four days later I ended up in the emergency room where I had bronchitis because they took the time to do a chest x-ray and EEG. I would’ve been better sooner if they had taken the time to run all different. due to it being the end of the day 7 PM my opinion is that they were just wanted to get home and closed for the day.
I feel it is unacceptable to require a Credit Card or Charge an astronomical self pay amount because you are having software issues. If that is the case, it should be communicated prior to making an appointment. I have insurance. But I do not use a credit card. The one I have is expired, and since I never used it, I did not reactivate the new one. I have plenty of funds on my debit card. Discharged at 12:30, prescription was not sent to pharmacy. After 3 calls to urgent care and 4 trips to the pharmacy , then another visit in person to urgent care , the script was finally sent after 7 hours.
The NP gave me two IM injections. I had previously had the same issue and I told the NP what I had which worked. The NP DID NOT listen to me and the medications she gave me were not effective!
It was a very long wait. From check in to seeing the practitioner was about three hours. I was told a one hour wait at check in.
