Not pleased with the way the PA-C handled my visit. I caught this from my husband and I was trying to avoid getting worse, which I did. I felt it was a wasted visit. She prescribed pseudoephedrine which is Sudafed or other over the counter drugs and did not tell me this. My insurance company rejected this prescription. In talking to my Pharmacist, I asked him if this was Sudafed and if the dose was the same. Yes was his answer. Why not tell me this. Also, my chart indicated that I have high blood pressure. Your advertising for making appointments online ahead of time is a bunch of bull. Made appt. for 9am and wasn’t called in until around 11:30.
Came in for abdominal pain and doctor prescribed medicine that none of the local pharmacy had available. Then said get a follow up with my primary physician at Tampa General. No appointments available for over 30 days. Tampa General fast track and Tampa General medical need HELP.
Doctor quickly diagnosed my acute sinus infection. prescribed medication to help me feel better.
Got there late. Seem to have an abundance of other patients. Had to wait 30-45 minutes. Got called and was in and out within 15-20 minutes.
I had a laceration on my finger and I lost a lot of blood. I had to fill out new patient info from my phone which was hard to do because I was in pain. There were many upset patients in the waiting room. Finally after 2 hours of waiting I saw the nurse practitioner. She must have been training a new NP. She had to go over what the first NP did. I had a choice to get stiches or glue and I opted for the glue.
The after visit scrip was for an ‘off the shelf’ product. I was not told that so I waited in pharmacy line CVS to find out it was over the counter product. Time is more precious when you are old. Don’t waste it.
Hello: I was misdiagnosed she wrote acute sinusitis when my tmj is getting worse and was diagnosed with trigéminal neuralgia. I’m disappointed with what occurred in my case.
I was assisted by the Nurse Practioner who advised me that it would take approxiamately 30 mins for my prescription to be filled. Come to find out it took up to 72 hours to be filled. They had my insurance card yet called in my prescription to a pharmacy who does not take my insurance like Walgreens which is huge, Urgent care should have known this! Then my husband went in got tested for Covid and the doctor refused to test me as well!
