While we see the lacerations, cuts, colds, sinus infections, strep throats, and broken bones that can get in the way of everyday living, we do so in an environment designed around the patient. Three medical assistants were unprofessional. I have asked what I needed and they didn’t give me what I needed. They were rude and unapproachable. I am very disappointed.

Would have been a great experience. However, the prescription for antiviral meds due to Covid were sent to the TGH pharmacy 45 min away from my home. It was hard to get in contact with someone to change pharmacy location. And there were issues with TGH pharmacy answering the phone for CVS to transfer the meds. Btw the correct pharmacy was always in my chart.

Waited almost an hour after my appointment time and the person who never introduced themselves ( I don’t know if the was a doctor, PA or NP spent two minutes with MMe, didn’t examine me and decided they could not help me.. I was a third person I witnessed them till they couldn’t help that day and turned away. I will never go back. It really is hard to believe that is the best that a TGH facility can do.

The initial office visit went well. I followed the directions the PA gave me and submitted test to Lab Corps the next day. That is when getting in touch with TGH FAST TRACK became a nightmare. I waited on the phone two hours just to be told a health care professional would get back to me before the end of the day. I got a call two weeks later asking when I intended to submit the test to the lab. By then, the results were posted on Lab Corps patient portal but absolutely NO follow up from the PA.

Outpatient procedure was good however I have a spinal cord injury and in recovery it was really horrible he’s not take anything into consideration or be extra cautious with me and a bunch of bad things happened. Telling me that a 15 minute procedure and it lasted two hours and they were basically booting me out the door as the last patient there shutting the lights off I wouldn’t come again for a procedure The head nurse there was really great to me but they wound up sticking me with someone who had no idea what was going on... read more

I was admitted to TGH through the ER on 7/16 and discharged on 7/18. In the just over 48 hours I spent there, I received no substantive answers to any questions I asked regarding my condition. I was admitted for bleeding following a colonoscopy, and for the next 48 hours all anyone wanted to talk about was my blood sugar level. I understand that's very important. However, what about the bleeding? What caused it? Will it happen again? What are my options? Responses: nothing. They couldn't even tell me why my blood su... read more

Waited an hour and then told us they don’t do X-rays. The practitioner said I could drive down to Riverview to get one. It would have been better to tell me before I waited so I could have seen a practitioner there. The assistant was told to put a splint on my injured finger. It was put on upside down. Practitioner didn’t indicate what or how long a splint should be taken care of.
