I came in with flu symptoms and was tested for both covid and the flu. I was informed I was negative on both. Less than 24 hours later I went to my primary care physician and tested positive for flu. I'm letting you know about this because the swabs taken were barely inside my nostrils. The staff is always friendly and polite. I just felt you should know about my visit.

It was really a waste of time because they couldn’t do nothing for me I have lower back pain leg pain and neck pain
Made an appointment for 11:30am and wasn’t taken back until 12:15pm. The nurse that called us in was extremely rude. The PA that saw my son, while nice, didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. My son had symptoms that mimicked 3 different things…flu, Covid and RSV. She only tested for the flu (rapid test) and sent us home uncertain of what was wrong.
Why hadn’t you had my appt online BEFORE my time?
Why have a phone if the receptionists don’t answer? How can you leave someone on hold for multiple hours while they are in pain and sick because of the combination of medication that was prescribed by the so called Doctor?
I made a 11:15 appointment and didn’t get seen till 12:30. The lobby staff was horribly rude and very short with their answers. I didn’t feel welcomed or safe in this environment
I do not live in Tampa so I was a little concern coming to a new hospital. But my experience was the best. Everyone was profesional, courteous and caring. Dr Lopez and Dr Timey were great. My surgery went. Very well and my anesthesia was a great concern but my anesthesiologist was very caring listened to me concerns and answered all my concerns. Everyone was great I’m thankful I chose to come to TGH and had my surgery here. Thank you everyone.
40 mile round trip rush hour drive to Brandon from Apollo Beach to get a 10 second COVID test because there is no courier service to Tampa General Hospital from any TGH Urgent Care facility closer to us. Why was the drive through test location in Sun City Center closed recently????? We left home early over an hour before the appt and arrived 10 minutes late with all the traffic. Ridiculous lack of services in southwest Hillsborough county!😡
