Was told 15 min when I got there, 2 hours later got in
This has to be the most heartless group I’ve ever come in contact with. Front desk was rude, short, and raised their voices every time I asked a question. Never saw a doctor, the nurse just told me to go to an ER. Guess I should have gone there instead of wasting time here.
The receptionist at the front desk they were disrespectful and rude. But the doctor or physician was amazing.
The doctor immediately knew which prescriptions I needed to relieve my symptoms.
Had an appointment. Wasn't seen for 45 min. past the appointment time. Only wanted a fast track COVID test. Didn't need any other services. Wait time was ridiculous.
I had a wound that required six stitches but nobody there could sew it up. It was seven hours before I could get it done. I had to wait 4-1/2 hours at TGH Emergency. I’m glad it wasn’t an emergency. Also found out why it’s called a waiting room. I needed better than I got. Attendants were very nice to me, but I needed more.
As a nurse myself, and employed by TGH, I know it can be very difficult and trying dealing with the general public - especially in a fast-paced, “in and out” setting. However, the receptionist that was on staff during my visit was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Going to an urgent care I’m going to be seen for an ailment and am not feeling well, to be “greeted” in a demeaning and harsh manner does not aid in my healing or treatment.
