Had appointments for Covid testing, my grandsons appointment was for 4:45, mine was for 5 pm, we got there 4:40, finally saw dr at almost 7 pm
I was seen fairly quickly on the day before Christmas Eve at 8:30 a.m. The staff that was at the check-in was efficient. The medical staff members were nice, profesional, helpful and encouraging. After my treatment I was told I would be given a referral to an orthopedist to check on the fracture and possibly treat with insertion of a pin. No signage to direct patients with scheduled Covid rapid tests. No information on website telling patient to either wait in their car or go to the front desk. Rude front reception workers. No separation of urgent care patients from patients exposed to Covid. Same waiting area for patients waiting for Covid results as patients waiting for other reasons. Overall a highly negative experience making me decide to never go to that urgent care for any reason in the future.
Basically told me to go to the emergency room after I waited for two hours.
I had flu like symptoms which overlap with some COVID symptoms. Two other places told me to contact them the next day to see if they had any COVID testing slots available. TGH took me right away.
Was taken in promptly and suggested I go to the ER
There was only one provider there. Despite having an appointment, it took 3 hours to be put in a room. The waiting room, at a place that's testing for covid-19, was full of people making social distancing impossible. This didn't seem very safe. The provider that I saw, after three and a half hours, was professional, helpful, seem very knowledgeable and I would give great ratings.
They read my lab results right by the waiting area and did not provide me a private room. I thought this was EXTREMELY unprofessional and inconsiderate.
