I came in knowing I had a UTI and was sitting there in pain for over two hours... when all I needed was an antibiotic.
Unfortunately the reception staff was not very welcoming or friendly upon arrival. The doctor we saw was good and professional. When I left I went to the pharmacy to collect my RX prescription and it hadn’t been received yet. I called Fast track for an update on the script and the person I spoke to was quite impatient and rude . I had a child screaming in pain . I would expect a little more care and concern from the staff there. I’ll try not to return there if possible.
A fast, convenient, easy way to be told I have the flu. Accepts insurance, and called in script. Great place if you dont have a primary doc.
When I go to Fast Track in Riverview I get top notch care from the minute I step in until I leave. Calling the number to make an appointment or check on a referral is a completely different experience. I always get the same lady with the worse attitude. I had to tell her to once to please calm down. She assured me she had no problem even though everybody in the car with me wondered why she was so agitated. I had the doctor this time and felt more assured I would be taken care of correctly.
I was sent for a drug test which is company policy due to a fall at work. The medical assistant was condescending insisted they needed a full new patient package with complete medical history of not only myself but parents grandparents & children. At one point he told me I would have to see a doctor even though I kept telling him I was only there for the drug screen. Dull bland patient rooms. Although I had an appointment after being triaged I place in a patient room for at least 30 minutes before the provider entered the room to provide care.
I've seen the same doctor the last 2 times I've been there. The last time I was there he told me I had a cold and I would be fine, no meds, no nothing. I even told him I have rheumatoid arthritis and didn't want to get worse. 2 weeks later, I had to get antibiotics from my rheumatologist because I wasn't better. Strike 1.
