The NP was rude and had horrible bedside manors.
Long story short...arrived at 4:15 pm on a Monday afternoom...left (without seeing the doctor) at 7:50 pm...many folks left after waiting at least 2 hours..we held on until my wife who's a diabetic needed to eat something, so we left...1 nurse/1 doctor..the most patients that were there the whole time was 6...thinned out pretty quick..awful service...never again..Left 1 star only because the place was clean....Coffee machine didn't work....
Walking in with a very high fever it took a while to be seen by the doctor overall the doctor care was very nice. However the EKG tech made me very uncomfortable. As a female leaving me open and exposed even while going in and out of the room. So much more.. and overall I just had a weird vibe not sure if I go to the urgent care clinic again.
The experience was a disconnected one. I had gone to one TGH urgent care on gunn highway for respiratory symptoms and a cold. I was told I needed an x-ray but there was no x ray tech on hand to take the x-ray. So l was sent to the Westchase TGH urgent care. There I had the x-ray done and I was called that night by the nurse practitioner with the results and with instructions to go see my primary care in three days. When i made my turn it took 2 hrs and it was because I ask how much longer the reason I went there was for a drug screen test for a new job and the only thing was only to urinate in a cup.
I had the flu, was diagnosed quickly, prescribed meds. Two days later feeling much better.
The two young ladies at the front desk were not friendly. One lady in particular was surly and when I commented on something she had said she flatly told me "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to her" (meaning the other receptionist), well then don't be talking to the other women while you are checking ME in! Also I waited for 2 hours and watched as all the people before me were seen, along with 3 people who arrived AFTER me! Everything when Great, Only Problem was with the prescription order. It was sent to walgreens when I went to pickup they did not have request, I went back to your location and advised them they resent, Walgreens had the second time. so a Mis-Communication somewhere. Why mention because this was the Second time this had happened.
I arrived a fee minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Check in was a breeze, however I had to wait a while before I was seen by the attending physician.
