My own primary physician wouldn't see flu patients. So, I wound up isolated at home hoping my OTC cold meds and Mucinex were going to conquer my throat and cough. 4 days after I tried getting that appt with my Dr, I went into TGH urgent care. I was seen within 2hrs. Bronchitis dx and scripts for cough syrup and nasal spray. I feel better, but, I probably would have wound up in the hospital had I not been seen by you all. Thank you.
Too long of a wait. I called ahead to supposedly get me in line and it still took 3.5 hours to see the Dr. I will not be using your facilities again.
had a 2:15 appt time but took till after 5:00 before we even got seen.
I was made to believe the problem was much more serious (and even deadly) than it actually was, according to the practicing specialist I was later referred to. I was also prescribed two drugs that the pharmacist and specialist warned Not To Take Together, due to a high risk of nervous system damage. They made my mother cry by stating that the condition would be fatal in two days if we didn’t go to the ER. I went to Riverview TGH Urgent clinic for a prolong cough since the beginning of March. I consulted a teledoc physician he got be cough medicine i finished taking that for the cold but still have some cough. I needed someone to listen to my lung just to be sure. Right away Riverview branch sent me to Brandon branch for corona test saying that since I traveled to California a month ago I needed corona test. Have ALL of the symptoms of Covid 19 and was told that I would be tested for it. There's a Fast Track Urgent Care 15 k minutes from my house but they sent me to one that was 35 minutes away so that they could not test me. Then had the nerve to send me to one that was even further from my house to receive basic care. I'm a very unhappy patient.
This is extremely hard to believe that any supervisor. Regional Manager or even the Visionary of such a great program would deny patients who are young, elderly or disabled to participate in this phenomenonally designed program. I'm in tears that a Nurse Practitioner and Medical Staff would do this. I would like to speak to the Founder & CMO, and Facilities Manager regarding the South Tampa location.
