Due 2 my age and health I was told by dr go there. I tht I was in a regular dr clinic. Due 2 how the place is set up. I only wanted to make sure my lungs were ok but I was sent there . Extremely long wait about 3 hours and when I asked the receptionist how long was the wait she said "very long". Three other people came in after me...they were seen before me. I have Cigna Insurance and have no co-pay for Covid-19 testing. The receptioninst took a copy of my valid insurance card, my driver's license and insisted that I leave a copy of my credit card on file or pay cash. Got stitches but they popped the same day. Tried to go back and they said I would have to pay another copay. Will never go here again even though the staff was nice.
I had to pay $75 (the normal charge) to get COVID-19 tested even though the state said that testing would be at no charge to the patient/citizens. The PA also wanted to test for influenza even though I put on my paperwork that I only wanted the test that I went there for. That's how they got around charging me. I knew I did not have influenza. I had the vaccine. This location was only doing these tests so they should not have charged the copay. The Government needs to hear about this. PA was not the problem!
I made an appointment prior to coming in and still had to wait almost an hour . The sign said to put a mask on but was not offered;Had to ask. The staff behind the desk was not masked My husband gave information when he called and it wasn’t notated but the first thing asked was “do I have insurance “ not my symptoms in these stressful times, a little compassion is needed, not greed. The medical professional I saw was wonderful. Answered all my concerns and explained the process.
I have visited your location 3 or 4 times in the past to do my pre-employment drug screens and have always been very satisfied with my experience. On this occasion, I waited for 3.5 hrs to be seen. 5 to 6 people who came in after I did were seen before me. There was only 1 other person in the waiting area, who arrived 15 minutes earlier when I was seen. It takes 10 to 15 minutes for this test and I was not allowed to leave the building. What I originally thought was a good experience getting test for the Corona virus turned out to be a negative and disappointing experience . I was informed by the patient portal that my test was mislabeled and being sent back to your facility. I called your facility and no one could give me a straight or accurate account of what took place. They simply told me it was being corrected and I'd lnow the results within ten days. My own primary physician wouldn't see flu patients. So, I wound up isolated at home hoping my OTC cold meds and Mucinex were going to conquer my throat and cough. 4 days after I tried getting that appt with my Dr, I went into TGH urgent care. I was seen within 2hrs. Bronchitis dx and scripts for cough syrup and nasal spray. I feel better, but, I probably would have wound up in the hospital had I not been seen by you all. Thank you.
Too long of a wait. I called ahead to supposedly get me in line and it still took 3.5 hours to see the Dr. I will not be using your facilities again.
