Wait time a bit long for “urgent” care. Everything done was very basic, was pretty quickly told to go to the hospital and then my issue ended up being something Urgent Care should have been able to see right away.
There was really no diagnose done by the nurse practitioner. Outside of it could be “a lot” of different things. My intent was at least to get a flu test administered which was not done. Almost felt like the practitioner was looking for any semblance of Covid symptoms.. felt like she was looking for zebras stripes on a horse.
I called before going to the Wesley Chapel location to ensure that a covid test could be performed. After driving there and waiting an hour and a half, I was told that I would need to go to the Carrollwood location on Gunn Hwy because a covid test would need to be done. I arrived at that location and while waiting, I was asked why I was sent here. If you are under age 65, can not breathe and but have chills a fever and diarrhea. You can not get a covid test here. I dis not "qualify" and was preferred to hillsborough county drive thru testing which is a hoax, I qualify but can not get an appointment until next Tuesday! Which then it takes 10-14 days to get the results?! Wow! Thanks Florida, yall be careful out here there is no tests, no cure, no care
I waited 2 hours because your office has apparently some agreement to give drug tests to some company who have priority over other patients. This should have been posted or at least you should tell people when they come in. I was happy with the PA but not your pperation
Your office indicates that you have a mask policy. Of the 6 employees I encountered, only THREE wore masks. One of the employees entered my exam room to obtain authorization for a procedure without any type of face covering. The same person also handed me my DVD without face covering. Both of these interactions were well within 6 feet. There was also a patient who entered, checked in and sat down to wait without a mask. I learned that I have Excema in my ears and the dry skin is causing me ear aches and ear infections. I was treated for an ear infection which I have not had an ear infection in years. So at this time the ear drops that the FNP ordered took care of my problem.
I didn’t had fever when I have visited the clinic, even during the initial screening also they didn’t mention anything about fever.. to my surprise on the paper work it was mentioned that I have fever of 99.1F.
The first nurse who took my vitals started acting weird and when i asked her wha at my vitals were she wouldn't tell me. Turns out my blood pressure was high. I am not sure why she couldn't tell me.
