Waited for 1-1/2 hours, got called in for triage, then went back to waiting room due lack of exam room because of a positive COVID test in one of them. After 10 minutes got put in an Exam room. Unfortunately, I sat there for 30 - 40 minutes with no dr. Visit, only to realize that numerous other patients that arrived long after me, were being taken care of before me. Basically told me to go to the emergency room after I waited for two hours.
Scheduled an appt for 3:00 PM. Got called back to the room at 3:40 PM. Why have an appointment set up? No apologies for the delays.
I had flu like symptoms which overlap with some COVID symptoms. Two other places told me to contact them the next day to see if they had any COVID testing slots available. TGH took me right away.
Well I thought I made an appointment online for 5:30 pm Friday Dec 11, but there was nothing in the computer when I got there. I told the girl that I really need a Covid test because I just came back from Mexico and there are 8 people that I was with. I have a terrible head cold. Very slow and not even busy. Over an hour wait just for a 10 minute test.
Front desk was not professional and the test results was never communicated back to us. We had to call to find out about tests results. We’re still waiting to receive via email or text.
Your Dr is very unprofessional and disrespectful. If she is to stressed to deal with people she should find a new profession. I needed my son to be tested prior to family coming in town and she refused to do a rapid test which was needed and pushed a pcr test which not only would cost more but would not meet our needs. Was a waste time. I wanted to have the COVID 19 test my insurance pay even if I don’t have symptoms. And should be free.
