I was seen bu the PA not.a md
Cystoscope procedure associated with bladder stone removal. Surgeon/urologist never came bedside to discuss patient concerns or details about the procedure. He visited only with my wife following the procedure. Was told by attending physician, Dr. Nicholson, before surgery that I most likely would have to go home with Foley catheter installed and it may have to stay in for 7-10 days. This was news to me. I felt that my concerns were dismissed. Yes it was viral however I was rushed. I have always had a great experience. Until this time.
This is not a convenient location for presurgical screen for a proceedures to be performed in Tampa. It is a day trip to get a test, ridiculous. Then instead of texting results, you text an app I can download to get the results. Frankly I do not care enough about your BS system to bother, if I sm positive I am sure someone will tell me. You guys are just time wasters.

I was there with my daughter who was sick, and the dark-haired assistant who works in that office treated us badly, he was not kind at all, it bothered him that my daughter was crying. They should actually fire him from the company for treating people so badly.
The receptionist and nurse was very nice and get 5 stars but my overall experience was not so good. I emotionally walked out feeling worsted than I came in and my anxiety immediately kicked in. The doctor was not as friendly as I’m use to and her answers to questions was very blunt. When asked questions about COVID-19, I was told that I would be given literature but no literature was given. I’ve always been treated in the past where although there is literature, the provided still answer my questions during the visit.
I needed to have a Covid test completed prior to surgery and was scheduled for this location. I now realize the staff member who completed my test did it incorrectly, she only swabbed one nostril, which resulted in a false positive! I also never received a call from the staff to tell me the results. I paid out of pocket to go to another provider and get the test done, this time a swab in both nostrils and that came back negative! The receptionist that checked me in was extremely rude, not just to me, but multiple people that checked in. Most people come to urgent care because they are in pain. The last thing I want to have when I was in extreme pain (broke my foot and couldn't walk) is to be greeted by a rude person when checking in. I couldnt walk at all, friend checked me in, she kept rudely telling my friend that i had check myself in, but i couldnt walk. i broke my foot and needed assistance.
