I told the doctor many times this was no ordinary sore throat and he proceeds to look in my mouth for less than 2 seconds and told me I do not have strep throat and to just take Motrin and cough drops which is what I already been doing and went to doctor to get actual medication. The next day still in terrible paid I went to a different urgent care where I tested positive for strep throat and got antibiotics
Nurse practitioner was very good
The front desk staff was rude. The lady who conducted the swap, caused my nose to bleed. A lady came to exam me, didn't introduce herself properly as PA, Nurse etc. Also, she ultimately refused to discuss with me about the diagnose The worse part was when I was about to check out at the front desk, they rudely told me, “step back, you are symptomatic, “ in front of everyone.
I wasn't evaluated further than what I asked for. I would've expected the medical professionals to also look further into my symptoms. The next day after the appt I woke up 10Xs worse and ended up having the flu and a 101.7 temp. I also wasn't offered any antibiotics or medications and was told to get throat spray. I'm still recovering today with a bad cough, dizziness and hot flashes. I was assisted my Stephanie, a nurse practioner.
Efficient and friendly
Though all the staff was friendly and helpful, I don't feel the doctor prescribed me all the medicine I need. I came in for a sinus infection which is common for me in the winter. Every other doctor I've seen has given me an antibiotic, (sometimes with other medines) after which the infection was cleared up quickly. The doctor at your clinic prescribed an inhaler, but no antibiotic saying the infection was caused by a virus. It's been four days and I still have the infection. Waiting at the waiting room was long. Waiting inside the treatment waiting room was long. My second time in this Urgent care clinic and both waiting time were extremely long. It looks like only one doctor or physician was working.
First he tells me that my toenail is still attached (definitely was not attached and fell completely off the next day), second, said a covid test wasn't necessary even though I had symptoms (got worse as the week went by and hopefully didn't get anyone else sick because I trusted him), third they didn't have the tetanus shot at that location so had to drive to another facility. They were very nice though.
Test was ok but having to drive 4 hrs from where I live to get a COVID test fir a heart cath procedure is totally ridiculous especially since I’ve had 2 vaccines and a booster. No other options given This isn’t the first time either!!!!
