Physician we saw was rude, had absolutely horrible bedside manners. I tried to explain what was going on w/ my daughter and she said, "List of symptoms is all I need." OK then! Didn't want to hear me out about how we had just moved down here from the northeast and my daughter was having Lyme symptoms. Somehow she invented possible appendicitis - either that or Covid or Flu (???!). My daughter said to me later, "Mom, it was like she was mad my stomach didn't hurt more." Terrible. Still participating in the mass psychosis over the cold virus. They are still playing safety charades and requiring masks here. I'm a physician, and didn't bother arguing with their TV derived opinions. Just left.
Staff from the front desk to the doctor who saw me were fantastic. The doctor was very attentive to my questions and my symptoms.
I went to the Urgent Care at 303 W. Palm Ave. I had been experiencing a severe cough which worsens at night. I saw Meera Ghayal D.O. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at TGH Urgent Care; her bedside manner was atrocious. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism. She was extremely rude and short; which is very disturbing considering when a patient is coming in not feeling well reassurance is essential. Went there because says they have on-site x-rays so after seeing the dr. They said they don't have x-rays available so I asked how about tomorrow they said maybe I said well can I call and check before wasting a trip and they said good luck getting through. This place was nothing but a huge waste of time.
My husband's appointment for a Covid-19 test was scheduled for 11:00 and mine was for 11:15. Two and a half hours later, we were finally called back for our test. Forty five minutes later, we received the results. This is no way to run an Urgent Care facility.
I worked with a PA that really rushed me. I felt like I couldn’t ask all the necessary questions to address my health concerns. I get that it is a “fast care” but I wanted to ensure it wasn’t something more serious.
The X-ray was of the incorrect part of the arm. They missed the part of the arm that was actually hurting.
I am paid based off of the amount of work I do as a technician. If your employees had done their job properly for my first visit, I most likely would have been back in the shop the following day. Contact me for more information.
