As a healthcare worker myself, I believe customer service should be it’s strongest in the healthcare setting. You are encountering sick patients who are already down, so the front office personnel should present with extreme care and kindness. As soon as I walked in the door, I was yelled at by the front desk woman to wear a mask. I forgot my mask in the car and it was pouring rain, and asked if she could please provide me with one. Front desk staff was amazing. The only thing if the X-ray tech didn’t show up for work and I was there for a possible broken arm I should have been told that when I was checking in. Instead I got all checked in and was seen by PA to find out there was no X-ray staff. So then I had to drive another 45 minutes away from my home to go to another urgent care with an X-ray tech. It was the best experience I've had with the medical side of the house.
Any Doctor was in charge of my care, just a couple on nurses I think. At my release time, I asked for a Doctor and the answer was that there were to many patients that the only one doctor available could not see each one. She encouraged me to pick my medications up atk the front desk.
We’ll the lady who called the day before pre-op screwed everything up by telling me to resume my ELIQUIS (a blood thinner) as I did as I was told. I arrived a TGH as scheduled and was prepped but at last moment before moving into surgery it was postponed for a month. And I was sent home.
Everyone is very professional and wants to be able to help patients.

Daniela Bataille: PA was the provider. I was super sick and told her all the symptoms when she walked in. She then proceeded to ask ME which tests I wanted. Mind blown- I said uh Covid and strep I guess (given she should’ve recommended me which tests based on my symptoms) but I knew I had an upper respiratory infection or something along those lines of bacterial infections. Easy to make a reservation on line. Staff was very professional abd we were seen very quickly. Staff performed test quickly and we were out within 45 minutes. Facilities are clean.
