Well I had right at a three hour wait and the clinic wasn’t that busy. When I did finally see the Dr/nurse practitioner she informed that I had an ear infection which I definitely did. She told me I would hear from a recommendation board or something like that about going to an ENT which I never heard from. It was the worst experience i could have possibly had. I made an appointment for 1:15. I was there ahead of time. I did the paperwork prior the my time. I went in, checked-in and was not told that there would be an over 2 1/2 hour wait. When i finally inquired as to when i would be taken that's when i was told about the wait time and my time i chose on line was a mete suggestion. Having waited for more than an hour, decided to wait. I waited for 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor. This was partly because I got there 20 minutes early, but I had been assigned a 10:15 time, and didn't see the PA until almost noon. The nurse and office staff were really nice, though.
Your best bet is to check in online through your app, it will make the registration a lot faster and help out the front desk. They took me back pretty fast, I mean fast enough. I was patient 3. The do not have a nurse or Dr on site. Its a Xray tech taking vitals & a PA-C who saw me after. I told the tech I needed to use the washroom, if I should hold on til she gave me a cup. Went to the location, the Heights. No complains. However I spent the rest of the day and a half trying to get the health care person some information so he could prescribe a medication for me. The most frustrating, waste of time! If TGH can’t support 18 locations that people are depending on for the services you say your providing, then perhaps TGH, should reduce the number of locations until they can support the locations.
I had a 2:15 appt. And was not seen until after 5:00. Don’t offer appointments if you can’t fulfill them.
I came to your facility because I needed treatment for my UTI. The Provider Alexis was wonderful. No complaints about the front staff , they were great as well. I had a reaction to the Bactrim and called into facility to get a different antibiotic. The system disconnected the call and started sending me texts. once I was called back it was quick BUT 1130a appt was two hour wait. 7 people ahead when arrived but should not take two hours to clear out rooms. Limited labs n radiology in urgent care. Either poorly staffed or slow employees. I have 37 years hospital experience. Disappointing
It wasn't the best experience. I made the appointment online uploading insurance information and other stuff that you are required. I arrived at 615pm but I had to wait 1hr and 47min before being seen. The front desk people is not helpful or empathetic at all and take a lot of time to process your information and asked my again for the information I had completed online when making the appointment.
