The wait was long, about 3 hours to be seen. The staff were listless, they may have been sick too. I did not feel welcomed, just another problem to be solved. Told the PA just to let me leave since there was nothing to be done accept take steroids.
I went to the clinic because I was not feeling well. I have asthma and barrels esophagus and I did not want to take any chances that either condition would worsen. I. Told them that I did not feel that it was an asthma attack but rather an infection. I have had bronchitis before and it felt a lot like it. The Dr listened to my back and said that she heard nothing. I walked away a bandage. No RX was ordered. The PA said that I should contact my PCP. So, I ask myself what is the goal of an urgent care facility?. The Physician Assistant was not trained to deal with a knee injury. She was back and forth into the room after talking with someone over the phone. Highly unprofessional.
We made an appointment on line for 12:15 pm and arrived on time and checked in. Since only one doc was there it took us 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room to see her. No one told us of the long wait. We kept thinking surely we'll be next. Other people came in later and were told of the long wait but we were not or we would have left right away. I saw the nurse practitioner who mentioned that my symptoms could be arthritis or stress. I later went to another doctor who figured that it was severe sinus infection. I am been treated now and feel 200 percent better.
Terrible experience, three hours for stitches and the doctor only was able to complete one. enough area for at least three. It will be a bad scar which defeated going in to have it stitched. No return call from the supervisor and terrible phone service. All calls are funneled through one number that nobody answers!!! also BBB complaints. 12 hours shifts and three people and a room full of patients.
The doctor and front desk personnel were extremely helpful. However, the nurse at intake took a 20 minute break while the waiting room was visibly overflowing. I waited for 2 hours to see the doctor. I was greeted by an annoyed nurse which further made the experience terrible when I’m already feeling bad enough having to go to the doctor.
Wait too long
Shanelle at the reception desk was wonderful. Registered me through my chart and it was a smooth and simple process. The facility was clean. Everyone was kind and professional. But! Waiting was crazy. I came at 11:00. No one was in the waiting room. It was 2:15 when my foot X-ray was complete. It was 3:15 before the disc was made to take to a podiatrist. Lunch breaks; one person with one skill set filled my day with 20 minutes of service in a 4 hour period. Nothing URGENT in your Urgent Care.
