I make appointment and when I go there before the time I need waif 1 extra hour and not solutions for the pain I have (headache) I ended at the hospital same day after there I pay the for COVID test and flue plus consultation 260.00 with not result
The wait was extremely long, there was only one doctor (nurse practitioner) on staff that day seeing all the patients. Then the prescription wasn’t sent to the pharmacy til hours later. I probably won’t return for services here.
I went in for a sewing needle that I was pretty sure broke off inside my foot. My visit was Monday, September 5th and the incident happened Wednesday, August 31st. The provider barely looked at and hardly touched my foot at all just to say he "didn't see anything and didn't feel anything so didn't think anything was there" but mentioned that if I was worried I could go somewhere else to have an ultrasound. Waited almost two hours to see a doctor/nurse. When I asked for an update on timing, the staff had an attitude in answering. Spent less than 5 minutes total with the nurse before being sent home.
Said I had to wear a mask. Yet, office staff was wearing their masks on their chins while sitting behind the receptionist desk. 🤔 Came in for a sudden rash on my stomach. (Was volunteering in Lee County-post Ian and got into something.) Wanted to give me a steroid injection. Asked why. Told me that it may help as PA wasn’t sure what the rash was…🤔 I declined as it was not a valid answer. Then prescribed lidocaine; said that it would be called into my Publix pharmacy. Already in the system yet I needed to fill out 2 pages of demographic information. We received a follow up call referring us to a specialist. I have yet to receive the referral information even after leaving a voicemail with their referral coordinator. The visit itself was great; we were quickly seen, facility was clean, professionals were sensitive, personable, and informative addressing our concerns. Just think the intake and follow up could be better.
It was a horrible experience from start to end. At the front desk they acted as if we were bothering them by coming in. They immediately said they didn’t take my insurance when I handed them my card. I tried to explain it showed on both your website and my insurance providers are ensure that you were in network. I asked if there wasn’t anything she could do to verify it like call them and she said no. I paid the cash pay price out of convenience to be seen. The nurse practitioner was no better.
