Still sick
My son had a laceration to his head that required 2 staples. Prior to coming in I asked if they treated head wounds and was advised they did. I got the the location and again advised of the head wound and they checked us in. We are checked in and still waited 2 hours. Once in the room immediately the attending advised they could not treat head wounds and we needed to go to the ER. It’s obvious there is a staffing issue as evidenced by wait times…ridiculous
Came in because the over the counter meds were not helping with a cough and sickness I was feeling. Waited more than 2.5 hours. Did a covid and flu test. Said I had a virus didn't specify no thorough check. Absolutely garbage doctor. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I don’t even know where to begin. I went to the location 13856 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa FL 33618. I saw the nurse practioner Kourtney i believe that’s her name. They took my vitals and said my blood pressure was 158/90 which is hypertension stage 2. So immediately im freaking out. Why didn’t they show any concern? None. They showed zero concern about my blood pressure. I should have gone to an E.R. right then there. Then, when the nurse practioner came in, she said nothing about my BP!!!! Went to TGH “Urgent care” and there was nothing “urgent” about it. I had a full body rash due to having an allergic reaction to a medication administered during a surgery. Red skin, hives, blisters! You would think that certain medical emergencies would take precedence over others - however this was NOT the case. I made an appointment the night before for 0930 to be seen. I arrived at 0915, I wasn't seen until 1142. Then I was asked 3 different times what my pharmacy was, and I filled out the paperwork to check inot my appointment and put on there CVS Apollo Beach, and my prescriptions were sent to TGH. They never checked my pharmacy to make sure it was right. How disturbing... It really screwed up everything. I'm a provider, and its been a little while since I was a patient. Wait time was very long but I do understand people needing to be seen when sick. Not good to be seen during a holiday week. I’m guessing you were short staffed. Also the PA Chris was not to sure what to do at first. All worked out as I am doing okay now.
Everything was good until my insurance wouldn’t cover my meds and I couldn’t get anyone to get back to me to give me new prescription so I’m still not feeling great
