Friendly staff, I was seen right away the PA was nice and attentive.
The facility is dirty, Covid testing patients who are clearly sick are kept within less than 6 feet of other patients, and machines (pulse ox, blood pressure cuff) are not cleaned in between patients. I witnessed all of these things and brought them to the Nurse Practitioner's attention, and instead of addressing the issues, she proceeded to argue with me that I was wrong. It was a busy Sunday, I was feeling really bad & didn't feel up to a long wait in a crowded waiting room and asked if they would phone me when my turn came. The said yes, I left,, my turn came, they phoned, I came immediately, was examined & told to go to the hospital which I did. 2 days in the hospital saw me on the road to recovery.
I was sick for 24 hours post procedure from propofol. Throwing up, diarrhea and severe gas pain. Was released by anesthesia with very high BP diastolic of 195. Unable to get relief from oral zofran, OTC imodium, OTC simethicone and Extra strength Tylenol.
You guys were the highlight of my experience with TGH . My surgical time had me waiting from 6:30 AM till 5:30 PM for actually surgery . Every patient was complaining & the poor nurses had all they could do , it wasn’t their fault ! Poor Administrative Practices !!!! I went to Dr Frankle 7 years ago & had my right shoulder replaced in TGH all went great !!! Your Techs need more training on how to perform a covid nadal test.
Everything was awful! Made an appointment online for a rapid COVID test to only be told when we arrived that the appointment meant nothing and had to wait an hour and 45 minutes. Then was told they ran out of the “good” tests. Was told we were free to go even though they never performed the COVID test. Once the test was complete we walked out into a pitch black lobby with both receptionists on their phones. No goodbye or good night. Had to wait for more than two hours despite having an appointment. Nobody gave me an update of why they were so late. I almost walked out!
Drove right up, showed ID. nose was swabbed, drove out. Maybe 45 seconds for the whole process.
