The process is incredibly inefficient — this does not mean the staff did not do a good job. Or were not helpful and professional in their duties . There seems to be a complete lack of management supervision of the process. I would be happy to give my views in detail

They DO NOT answer their phones! I have been waiting a week to get my test results. They have not called me nor can I reach them. I have called every day for 5 days several times a day and no-one answers the phone. The same recording every single time. Do not go there if you want your results without having to go into their office.

Despite the name urgent care or the allusion to an expedited service (Fast Track), I arrived presenting the pre-diagnostic made by the doctor from the Clinic Minute (who directed me to your services) and still waited for over 90 minutes in an very hot and uncomfortable room with a fever over 101 and high pressure. Arrived at 3:00 for a 3:30 appointment. Was called at 5:05. The entire time I was waiting you were accepting walk up customers. As a percentage of your customers are walk ups, perhaps you should change your appointment scheduling process.

Social distancing in waiting room was not being followed. Using pens and paper at check in instead of virtual check In. Not having TGH patient information until you get to the back. Signing forms so seeing tech cleaning area and asking me to put my purse down in a dirty old area. TGH knows better! Or at least they advertise they do!!

My concern is with the Tech justin who performed my nasal swab. When he came in to the room he undid the door stop. He stooped down and lifted up the door stop with his hands. Door stop are often lifted up with the foot/shoe. He then proceeded to don on his PPE. Gown, gloves and face shield. (Already wearing face mask). I asked him to wash his hands. There was really no diagnose done by the nurse practitioner. Outside of it could be “a lot” of different things. My intent was at least to get a flu test administered which was not done. Almost felt like the practitioner was looking for any semblance of Covid symptoms.. felt like she was looking for zebras stripes on a horse.

I was made to believe the problem was much more serious (and even deadly) than it actually was, according to the practicing specialist I was later referred to. I was also prescribed two drugs that the pharmacist and specialist warned Not To Take Together, due to a high risk of nervous system damage. They made my mother cry by stating that the condition would be fatal in two days if we didn’t go to the ER.
