I’m a registered nurse and what they provided did not work I. Went home a soaked my thumb in Epsom salts and took Advil and my wound is still draining
The clinic is spacious and I felt very safe. The admitting office personnel was very professional and gave a detailed explanation on the documents I needed to sign. The prep nurse was also very professional. At the operating room, the nurses gave me a blanket due to i was cold and explained what they were going to do and about the anesthesia. A two hour wait to get a 15 minute COVID test is unacceptable. I also think it is not ok to have people being tested for COVID in a waiting room with other people. The health department And CVS do a drive through.
Just did. Why two request?
Waited half hour. Front desk not helpful. We all know they cannot be precise, but they say best guess is 25-35 minutes for example. Will try Advent next time.
I felt like a number. Doctor and nurse were in and out and I didn’t feel as if I received any care or concern. Just asked a bunch of questions then left. Nurse was cold and didn’t make me feel comfortable. Doctor also never came back after tests. I was just given a bunch of papers by the nurse and told I need to see a specialist. Then I sat in the room for about 20 min thinking the doctor would be back and had to call the nurses station to find out I could leave.
1.5cm laceration on my thumb. Treated with flushing out, tetanus update, two antibiotic pills and glue. Billed my insurance company $2,800. My portion was $630. GET PRICING UP FRONT!
I was told indifferently the wait would be a little over one hour. I waited approximately 2.5 hours listening to very loud rock music before seeing an APP. Music was so loud, I had to ask the receptionist a couple times to repeat herself (probably their favorite channel). They seemed oblivious. Sorry, couldn't see the names of 2 receptionists In contrast, the APP was very professional and did a thorough job. I will never go back to this Brandon TGH Urgent care.
Went in with lower back pain on Memorial Day. My pain has only got worse. They did find I had a UTI and prescribed antibiotics, which is good. I explained I’ve had pain for almost 5-6 days. The doctor said she didn’t think the pain was associated with the UTI. I was told to take Motrin, which did nothing for the pain. They should have probably x-rayed my back/spine given my age and history of osteoporosis and taking Letrozol, which deplenishes bone structure.
