Reception staff is NEVER friendly, we have used this location several times with great experiences with the physicians/nurse practitioners but the support staff is frustrating. We have had to wait for the receptionist to complete their, very clearly personal phone calls- not business, several different occasions before they could/would do their job. We were told By the NP this last visit to call back should there be any concerns- I did call and left a message, never to hear back, I was absolutely not surprised.
My appointment time was 7:30 am. Was instructed to arrive between 7-730am. I was late due to a traffic jam as I live in Clearwater and the causeway that morning had an accident which slowed my arrival Then I am a dialysis with stage 5 Renal Disease and I parked in the deck after 15 minutes riding up to the top to find a spot for some reason it was full at 730am. I had an appointment at this location and they gave it to someone else and said I would have to wait over two hours, even though I had a confirmation email. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. She was dismissive to my questions and concerns.
The appt. I initially made online was not seen on arrival . I was then told I would need to wait at least 2 hours before being seen as a walk in so I made another appt. on site online which was seen by receptionist . I then waited over 3 hours to be seen for a blood test. The M.A. twice installed needles to draw blood unsuccessfully and needed the DR to do it . ( unpleasant experience). Arrived at 3:00 for a 3:30 appointment. Was called at 5:05. The entire time I was waiting you were accepting walk up customers. As a percentage of your customers are walk ups, perhaps you should change your appointment scheduling process.
When you walk in the clinic there is a large sign that says sanitize and put on a mask before approaching the counter yet there weren't any masks or sanitizer available. The lobby had multiple people in it without masks on, and the lobby was full of at least 20 people instead of having patients wait in their cars. Also the pens and clip boards people were using didn't appear to be santized between uses. The provider was very professional and helpful, and kind.
Do not honor appointments. Waited over 1 hr to be seen. Will never return . Wasted too much time waiting .. Personnel in back not wearing face masks.
To be honest I was not pleased at first.I drove all the way from Sarasota.and was told I was not on the list for pre-op testing.had to make a call before I was put on the schedule.then I had to wait 2 hours before being seen. Then they did the same tests I just had done just days ago.
I got there at 12:00 noon. Left at 4:30. Too long wait.
