I went , with dizzy spells as my main concern, to the urgent care because I couldn’t get in to my primary, as suggested by the EMTs. I was told to shake my head, and when I could see her finger, she sent me home with an allergy medication prescription. I ended up in an ER the next day.
The doctor immediately knew which prescriptions I needed to relieve my symptoms.
The service was quick, efficient and organized. The scheduling was terrible. I was scheduled for Sunday at my pre op related to my work schedule. I work every Saturday. The Covid center scheduled me for Saturday not the Sunday and they did not return my calls at the number provided or answer the phone. I called multiple times. I had to leave work with short notice and left them in a bind. I also didn’t get paid! Very expensive test and inconsiderate to patient.
After sitting for over 4 hours in a wheel chair at TGH ER because of a back injury, I was told the wait would be s few more hours . I decided to leave and go to the TGH Urgent Care near my house. It was close to closing time but the PA ordered an x-ray, gave me a prescription and an order for a MRI if needed. I was glad I went there and only wished that I had gone there originally.

The Urgent care clinic in Carrollwood needs a receptionist that is consistent and treats people equally. I went with my daughter with an arm injury. I went and got in line and waited for my turn to ask a question. When she got done with the patient that was ahead of me, I walked up to her and she told me to stand back and wait until she was done. The front desk person that day,June 22,2021 @ 2:45pm seemed overwhelmed or maybe just unhappy at her station. Working 8n the customer service industry learning to make your smile be evident through your mask has been something we have all had to learn., she was unwilling or just disinterested in patients
Had an appointment so we didn’t wait long at all. Doctor was thorough in explaining reasoning for things and didn’t force us to do unnecessary tests
I had a 3:45 appointment and did not get seen until almost 5 o'clock.

We have been very busy with COVID testing due to the ongoing pandemic. We have to sterilize each room after a COVID test and this can take extra time and increase wait times for patients.
