Extremely long waiting time even with an advance reservation. Appointment was for 11AM, was taken back till past Noon and then waited another 20 minutes to see the health care provider.
Any Doctor was in charge of my care, just a couple on nurses I think. At my release time, I asked for a Doctor and the answer was that there were to many patients that the only one doctor available could not see each one. She encouraged me to pick my medications up atk the front desk.
Saw a PA - had very clear symptoms of strep throat . White spots were visualized . After testing negative for flu and covid ( no strep tests were available ) I was Basically written off and prescribed a cough syrup , Bromphed . I didnt have a cough !!! Went home where my mother , a nurse , said you definitely have strep - saw a provider somewhere else and prescribed Antibiotics. I’m 100 percent better in 48 hours after that . You’re PA needs better assessment training and listen to patient . Cough syrup !! Ridiculous
THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE!!! I tried to call to confirm and see if there were any earlier appointments, was on hold for over an hour and a half, and finally after 2 of such calls on the day of the appointment, I gave up. Then after driving over an hour and fifteen minutes to get there, they told me that they are not providing the service that was a choice from the pull down menu on their website. We sat in the lobby for an hour waiting to be seen. When I walked up to the desk to inquire the receptionist said we were not in the queue because we didn’t turn our paperwork back in. We did forget to hand the clipboard back but it would’ve been nice for her to have noticed.
The EKG machine wasn’t working properly, they couldn’t do blood work which I asked about and they didn’t provide the right information
My experience at TGH was very disappointing. I was told I had a UTI and they took a urine sample to test for source and sensitivity. After not hearing back after finishing my first round of antibiotics I called for my results. I was told they were “backed up” because of COVID and I would get a call back. A week later after not hearing I called again and was told I would get a call back. On my third phone calls they told me my sample was lost. The treatment at this facility was the worst i’ve ever experienced. I was looked at and then sent away to get a COVID test and they charged me $135. No diagnosis. The doctor even lied to me to my face. I didn’t even have $135 to spend. I went to the clinic looking for help not to be sent away. Now me and my family are without food until I can return back to work. I hope your clinic needed $135 because I know I did.
I am disappointed the way I was treated at this facility. I didn’t have an appointment, but I was told they do walk ins. I waited 3 hours in my car before I was told to come in. They put me in a room to be seen by the doctor. I waited 45 minutes. Finally somebody showed up. She told me she is the physician assistant. Which is fine with me.
