The PA I saw was extremely difficult to understand, and did not seem to address my medical issue in a concise and comprehensive manner. She referred me to TGH Emergency Department at the hospital,. The TGH ER staff told me I should’ve never been sent for emergency care for a UTI infection. They stated I was the third case who had been needlessly sent to their ER by TGH Urgent Care Gandy on 11/17/23. Based on this experience, I will not visit your urgent care again.

The wait time was way under estimated. The entire staff was very nice but after 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room and an over an hour in the back I was over it. After being tested for covid and flu the tech said it will be 15 minutes. I actually walked out of the room after 40 and the PA said oh I’m just going to check. The entire experience was disappointing. Not sure how the corporation can fix these issue’s, but it isn't efficient. Horrible experience all around. Resulting in them erroneously charging me $500 6 months after a visit with no warning and still haven’t been fully refunded a month later, after hours on the phone and them admitting their mistake in submitting the bill to the wrong insurance. In addition to that the labs from that day were submitted to quest incorrectly coded resulting in a $300 bill from them for something that would have been covered by insurance if they hadn’t submitted it with the wrong code. The "check-in" process is ridiculous. They don't put you in line immediately when you walk in. First you have to fill out 5 different repetitive forms. I waited 2 hours to be told I needed to go to the ER. The woman medical receptionist had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. The male receptionist did nothing the entire time I was there, except play on his phone. One employee didn't show up for work and another called in sick (on a Sunday no less). Very poorly managed. The end.

The PA that I saw did not examine my foot/ankle. I had my shoe on and she never actually touched or looked at my foot. She only talked to me. Then she gave me a boot and told me that there was no X-Ray tech working so I had to go to a different clinic. I received a call from someone telling me the X-ray came back normal, but the Gandy office never followed up with me about what the actual diagnosis was (sprain? Strain? Ligament tear?). The bright spot was the X-ray tech… she was cordial and friendly and professional.

Just ok. Was not seen by an actual doctor. Did not get the authorizations that I came in there for. They bill the HMO for over $400 which is a genuine rip-off.

On Friday August 25, 2023, I went to this urgent care for possible strep throat symptoms. They had me update my chart and my allergies. I am severely allergic to Lidocaine which I updated and put down that I get shortness of breath and have difficulty breathing, and get spasms if i use or come in contact with lidocaine. The front desk staff were short and not friendly, barely smiled or greeted me properly. The female Dr. on duty said she would prescribe a throat remedy. the good thing is that the Dr. took her time with me. I specifically told her about the possible connection between the discomfort in my LLQ and a 7 inch scar in that area and asked her to check that out, she said she would, she did not, when she pounded on my left side ( clothes never came off ) at one point I said that hurts and is about at the start of the incision, The Dr. gave no comment and never checked it out, final word " go to the ER." I went there after I was bitten by a feral cat. I was worried that I may have rabies. The doctor was obviously young and inexperienced. (Just out of med school?) He did not have any knowledge of rabies incubation length of time. He did no tests and gave me no information about the disease. He did not suggest any vaccination or treatment plan.
