Had a scratchy throat and congestion. Two signs of Covid-19. Nurse: We won't test you unless you've been in contact with someone you know that has tested positive. The most ignorant thing I've ever heard. Dr.: You have symptoms so we have to test you. Took the test test, negative. They need to educate their staff.
Four hours of waiting just to get a confirmed appointment to get a COVID test, only to come back almost 2 hours later because there was time for me to get said test “early.” After waiting four hours, I was told I had a confirmed appointment at 4pm. I got called around 2pm to come in early so I did. I live 8 minutes from the clinic. I then waited until 3:45 to get into an actual room. I should have just come in at my scheduled time. The process is incredibly inefficient — this does not mean the staff did not do a good job. Or were not helpful and professional in their duties . There seems to be a complete lack of management supervision of the process. I would be happy to give my views in detail
Came in and diagnosed with a uti Saturday night 7/4. Told PA which cvs to send prescription to. Pa sent prescription to a cvs that was closed 7/4, 12 hour delay in getting antibiotics. I was scheduled to work at Tgh the next day but called out because discomfort was worse the next day due to this delay. Called the next day to find out where my antibiotics were sent and was on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Left message for someone to call me back, no one ever did. You have to get there 2-3 hours before they open for the COVID-19 testing. They only do 25 test a day and no chance to just call and schedule one! Myself and other people I know have gone here and each time in the same week the process has been different. This facility is very unorganized and changes apparently each day, depends on who is working I guess. Not the typical standard you would expect from TGH. The only thing I can say nicely is the Doctor issuing the test was very friendly and willing to answer question.
Very polite and professional wouldn't hesitate to return or suggest to anyone I know to do the same. Thank you.
The people take a hour to answer the phone. Then the person on the on the phone will flat out lie to you. They said 2-4 days for results. It’s going on day 10 still on result.
I waited in line starting at 4:20 am for a COVID test for my eight-year-old daughter. Once the facility opened they alerted us we would be checked in for an appointment at a later time. Check-in took 2.5 hours and the appointment was at 2 pm. Prior to checking in, I verified with the front desk that they would test my daughter who was asymptomatic and with suspected, but not known, exposure. They confirmed they would. Waited for six hours to be told my insurance wasnt excepted im on 02 n disabled CHF prone so in the critical catagory told that the test was free to most or covered if u in the critical catagory. Was not going to be seen unless I put a card on file but assured me it wouldnt be charged while less than two weeks i get charged 180dollars. Im on a fixed income and cannot afford this I need some answers as to why I was lied to.
