During a very long day (9+ hours) everyone on the staff was professional, courteous, and kind to all the people that were waiting to be tested. It is appreciated.
I arrived at 9:00 a.m. and stood in a line that did not move for hours. When we arrived closer to the doors approximately noon, a sign had been posted stating that no tests would be administered after 2:00p.m. Once thru the door it took another hour for the 5 page registration form to be handed to me. When this was completed I was told to step outside AGAIN and wait to be called in for yet another hour to see the triage nurse. An appointment was supposed to be scheduled for a Monday and one wasn’t, (not tgh’s fault) I scheduled the appointment for the next day at 11:30 and when I arrive the first thing that is said to me even if you have an appointment the wait is 2:30 hours. After finally getting to the front of the line and filling out the paperwork it took 40 plus minutes to get my credit card, license, and insurance card back and when I asked if they were done after 20 minutes and 35 all I seemed to receive was attitude. Know these are difficult/strange times, but there must be a better way to administer Covid testing. Waiting in line for 7+ hours with little communication is absurd
Even with an appointment we had to wait 4 HOURS! The clerk behind the desk stated that they have been too busy to honor appointments. Being busy is precisely WHY we made an appointment. All we were there for was a sports physical. If my son didn't need it to return to practice, we would have left. On top of that, they took his height and weight with his shoes on. That made those numbers inaccurate. Poor service and now have no confidence in the the medical professionals there.
Wait was as predicted. Nurse was cheerful and good with the kids. Test results were quick and presented with compassion and understanding.
