Fast and easy with friendly, competent people. Facility was amazingly clean.
TGH Urgent Care has been very helpful to me this week. I was in Tuesday 5 pm and today at 3:30pm with upper respiratory infection. They got me in quite quickly and, bonus!, were able to do a chest X-ray right in-house. I was really worried about pneumonia, so this put my mind at ease. Made an appointment and arrived a little early. I was called in fairly quickly for triage and then taken to a room. A little wait here but that was fine. PA was friendly and checked me out and prescribed the medication I needed. Then out just as quickly.
Nice and clean atmosphere. Great receptionist. Not too long of a wait to be seen. Great staff and doctor. I would recommend.

Excellent staff here! I’ve been to the Apollo Beach TGH location as well as the West Gandy location multiple times and I’ve never had a displeasing experience. Everyone is nice, professional, knowledgeable, and now that you can make an appointment online or “get in line” prior to arriving, it cuts the check-in processing time so short!
The PA who worked with me was caring and concerned and gave great medical attention. However, I waited in the lobby for nearly 2 hours in 7/10 pain to be seen. When I was taken back, I could barely walk, had very high blood pressure, and was nauseous from the amount of pain I was in. You need to properly staff the urgent care or triage patients so that people are not stuck for 2 hours without being seen.
