Broke my wrist and u got me the best hand surgeon ever
I went to the local TGH Urgent Care (Tyrone) on Tuesday evening. I had made an appointment for knee pain. When I arrived, I started to check in only to find out that there was no xray tech there. There is one tech that circulates through several centers. This is appalling. Tampa General Hospital is supposed to be the #1 hospital in the area which we all know makes money hand over fist. Left clinic without being told next steps or when turn to work information. Was also given bacterial antibiotics when I had the flu. Something seemed wrong there…
The staff and flow was fine. Everyone was nice and did their job. But since your only worried about that I have it life score cause your forcing people to sign up for auto pay not knowing what any charges will be and telling them thar some one will be calling you in 7 daysand if you dint answer they'll leave an email. What kind of dictatorship is that!!?? I should have given 1 start. I hope other place are not doing that but I will be going weeks where next time.
I went to the Tyrone location as I always had, previously has been a good experience. This time I knew something was wrong and I asked for a chest Xray, they couldn't do it there but sent me to the 4th St location, no problem because I felt it was necessary even though the APRN that checked me out didn't hear anything even though I could hear a rattle in my chest. The person that helped me was great, but they charged me $79, the full amount for the visit. My insurance pays for tele medicine with a $37 copay. Why would you get your full payment the day of appointment, before ever submitting to insurance. Not happy about that.
The last time I had a visit there, it was wonderful, I was in and out very quickly. However, I was very disappointed this visit. I went in for a fall hoping for an x-ray. I was seen right away but then was told the x-ray person was not in that day. Despite their website stating that they can do x-rays. I was given a referral for an x-ray but the location was 10 minutes away, was very busy when I arrived, and the x-ray was going to take 3-5 days to get the results.
