The inside installation was quick, however they cut some electrical lines outside and were repaired.
The OEC Fiber works better than expected, even the basic connection. However, due to a completely incompetent contractor, an underground gas line was damaged and needed to be completely replaced. This line was clearly and accurately marked, and contractor was shown in person where the line was. 7 days passed and I heard from no one, causing a complaint to be filed. I required the repairs be made by a competent, licensed repairman. They sent a lawn sprinkler repairman with no license of any kind. Because of incompetence, thi... read more
I've waited for so long for OEC Fiber service to come to my area and when it finally arrives, they damage my yard with deep ruts which they never repaired, when the next phase of operation came about the operator severed my existing service line and made no effort to repair it leaving me with nothing until I called my existing service and they came and repaired the line. Not really too pleased with the appearance of the final installation but I accepted it. To top it off, yesterday I receive a letter from OEC Fiber claiming ... read more
I would have liked to know about the glitches and updates you were working on before I started service. I probably would have waited until that was completed before I switched. Also, it’s not user friendly for someone that is not technically inclined. I can’t call tech support every time I want to watch tv.
I have been on the phone with you almost every day to get my problems fixed, but still nothing resolved. There is a service call has been scheduled for today at 3:00 to see if things can be fixed.
Installer left Sheetrock dust all on my floors and on my stereo system. Ran fiber cable the least amount of work way and it looks absolutely awful. Installer needs to learn how to do better work, not impressed at all
We’ve already had to trade out one receiver box (Of 3) at the TV nearest your signal, which is the living area. Since, we have had several occasions where this same TV shows it is either buffering? Or loses signal. (Do we know what causes this?). This is where we have to unplug the receiver box/then plug back in to re-boot. ( learned from calling tech support) We didn’t expect this from fiber? Is this typical breaking in period for these devices? Is there a remedy?
Every person involved in getting us set up for OEC Fiber knew their job and did it well.
The contractor that trenched the cable to the house did a poor job of installing the box on the outside of the house. All of the people that followed them in the install process commented on how poorly placed it was. Additionally another crew showed up the next day and were surprised because they had the ticket to lay fiber to my house and the house next door. Other than the confusion and poor installation of the box outside the house, I’m perfectly happy with OEC.
