I waited on hold on the phone for 44 minutes with no answer prior to my visit. I couldn’t get information from the receptionist about whether I should test for COVID. She was not kind. The Nurse Practioner conveyed an air of being on an ego trip. The tech was kind which I appreciated.
This TGH urgent care location is the best one I have been to. They are all good but this one was exceptional. Check in was fast as was getting me back to the room. The woman at checkin was very cordial. I waited no longer than 10 minutes to be brought back to a room. The place is spotless and was not overcrowded due to them spacing out their apts. Number one they weren't taking any temperatures with covid. I very uncomfortable with a room full of sick people waiting to take a pre-employment training. Should have had everybody waiting in their cars.... distancing. Employee was new and admitted he didn't know what he was doing. He poured the urine sample down the sink which was gross. The room was filthy unacceptable.

Everyone was really nice but I only saw the nurse practitioner, never saw a doctor.
The fast track covid testing was seamless and quite easy. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
I feel 90% better today. The leg still hurts but have appt Monday to look into what is going on there. I did not know I had a UTI and am thankful my friend made me go to Acute Care. Staff very helpful.
